What do you do when your cousin leaves her newborn and you are the only one left to raise her.  Not only are you now responsible for a child that is not your own but to compound the situation the child was born with a drug addiction and serious physical issues. A hidden agenda pulls London into a situation that she is totally unprepared for and may cost not only her life but her nieces as well.

London has put her life on hold to raise niece as her on child. She has founded her own cleaning business and now at the age of thirty-eight she is finally starting to get ahead.  Her niece just graduated and everything should be smooth sailing until the night she is told her niece has gone to party with the Reapers MC.  London's only choice is to go to the club and find her niece.                                               

  

Going to the club is not something that London wants to do especially since Reese Hayes the MC prez will be there, London will need his help to get her niece.  She can't help the feelings that he evokes whenever she sees him.  He is a really a hot, sexy guy that is all bad boy and he seems to be interested in her too!

Reese lost his wife and has not wanted anyone since she past away until he saw London Armstrong.  Even though she is involved with another man, Reese doesn't see that as a problem.  Things are going really well between the two of them until outside forces start to reveal a diabolical plan.  Will Reese and London survive? Can they find their HEA?

Would I recommend this book:  Yes! This is a great read filled with love, sex and lots of action.  You want be able to put the book down until you finish it!  

Would I recommend this author:  Yes! Fantastic author that really knows how to tell a story!  Should be on everyone's must read list!

"So I guess this probably means our deal is off?"

Her voice sounded uncertain, almost scared. Still a little slurred, too. I turned to glare at her, taking in her tangled blonde hair, the curve of her generous hips in those tight jeans and the way her shirt drooped low enough to show plenty of cleavage.

"Not if you want to keep the club accounts," I growled, wondering why the hell I didn't just fire her ass. My cock reminded me that we weren't finished with her yet. "I'll see you out at my place on Tuesday. Make enough food for leftovers and maybe we'll have a talk about getting a crew into The Line."

"Thank you," she whispered.

"Eat shit," I said, and then slammed out the door.

~Review: Bittersweet Hate (Bittersweet #3) by J.L. Beck~

Mimi is a full blown prankster and often gets carried away with the pranks she plays on others. If the truth is known, Mimi is a girl with an attitude problem compounded by anger issues.  She had already used some of her best moves on Corey when he blackballed her best friend Jenna in high school. Mimi is the girl you don’t want to be on the bad side of because her first move would be to take you out!  Jenna is her BFF and the good girl that can’t hold a grudge and will forgive anyone, even those that have really hurt her. There is a love, hate relationship between Corey and Mimi that sizzles hot through this book. They have succumbed to each other’s allure twice and Mimi promises herself that it will not happen again.  She belongs to Mimi and no one else!

Corey has always been a playboy with a twisted sense of angry retribution that often gets him and others in trouble.  He is attracted to Mimi and would like to put the past in the past but Mimi is having none of that!  She considers him her enemy and will not let him anywhere close to her.  Corey has tried to call a truce between them but Mimi doesn’t believe him and wonders what he is up too.  The chemistry between the two of them is smoldering below the surface waiting to erupt and consume them both.  Can he convince Mimi that he is serious about her? Is Corey his father’s son in all the ways that count?

Corey wants Mimi and is willing to work to get her to look at him as more than someone who did her best friend wrong!  Will she forgive him and give him a chance?  Or will the past keep them apart?  Read this book and get some surprising answers! Would I recommend this book: Yes! This book is for all of us that remember those days of transition from high school to college! Parties, drinking and hot sex are just a few of the things you will find inside the pages of this novel.  It is sometimes funny, sometimes sad but all the time worth reading!

Would I recommend this author: Yes! I enjoyed the first two books in this series and the author only got better each time.  The third book in this series is really amazing and beautifully written.  Can’t wait to read more from this remarkable author and find out what happens between Corey and Mimi!

Jake Reynolds has a problem, he has lost his swing and to a pro baseball player that is catastrophic! He doesn’t know what is causing his dilemma but if he can’t get his batting under control he may not be playing anymore. Everything seems to have started the day his biggest fan, Chelsea Simmons won the chance to meet the players at a game.  Jake knows that she is the one for him but he fights the longing in his heart because Chelsea is not the expected woman for a player. 

Keara has a tough job ahead to bring the two together.  Will they be able to move past preconceived ideas of what is expected?  Can they find their future happiness as a couple?  Or will peer pressure destroy their relationship?

Would I recommend this author: Yes! Keara’s adventures have a lure that makes the reader want another fix.  Read another book by this author and you will find out why!

Bad to the Bones, a story written by Layla Wolfe, is a destination tale of two polar opposites.  It is A Hells Angels meets Waco love story.  Knoxie and Bellamy are both damaged goods.  This story comes from opposing sides.  Both of them abused by ones they put their trust in.

Knoxie has been around the block once or twice. He's jaded from his wife leaving him and taking his children.  Although he has a past as a SEAL, he has demons in his closet from younger years when priests molested him.  These are the reasons he currently works for Triple Exposure, a pornography video company. In his spare time he hangs with the Bare Bones Motorcycle Club.

Bellamy, has been known as the Master's chosen one, Asanga.  She is brainwashed and repeatedly raped by anyone the master deems in an attempt by the master to cleanse and enlighten her. She is discarded like trash and left to die by his order for publicly challenging his decision for her sister’s pregnancy.

When Knoxie finds Bellamy dumped on the mesa left for dead, something in him changed.  He wants to protect her and chase all her demons away. Will these two broken souls heal one another?

This story was such a feel good read from the beginning that I was smiling and loving it throughout the entire book.  The author has a way with developing her characters and creating a world that will keep you involved to the very end.  I loved the rocker theme and it just makes you think that even those who are in the "lime light" have feelings too.  Although I would've like to have a little more controversy woven into the story, this book was anything but loving and developed a wonderful inspiring story.  Way to move me, Nalini! ~ TSRBR
