~Review: Night of the Fallen by Diana Bocco~

Isabelle’s mission seemed so clear: kill the king of the vampires to give humanity a fighting chance. Except she didn’t count on falling in love with him. And she didn't realize he held secrets that could actually end up saving the human race.

As the kingdom falls and Isabelle’s heart is torn between two worlds, everything changes. There’s something more dangerous out there, a plague that might destroy both humans and vampires alike. The only way to survive it might be to find a truce between species.

Peace will require the ultimate sacrifice.

And change the future of the world forever.

Overall Rating:  4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆

Since the Vampires had invaded Earth things have gone from bad to worse for humans.  Marcus’ brother Patrick wants to enslave and kill humans, while he wants to work with them in a reciprocal relationship.  Patrick also has found a way to leash the rabids, vampires that have become sick because of the void.   Patrick is systematically destroying all life on the planet and that included other vampires.  While Marcus had gone to fight the rabids, his strong hole was attacked and destroyed by Patrick.  Marcus had been tricked into leaving the compound unprotected and the result was catastrophic.  Marcus is the King of the Vampires and has found his true love in a human mate and he had left her behind at the compound.

Belle loves her vampire and is worried that he may have been killed during the fighting.  She manages to escape and returns to her people so that she can warn them about what is coming.  No one will be safe and human life may cease to exist unless a miracle happens. Not only are the rabids overrunning everything they are not restricted to the night, they can move during the day as well.  There is no longer a safe time for humans!  The sense of safety that her people have felt is false and they need to move immediately to another safer location.

Marcus will move heaven and earth to find Belle and he would lay down his own life for her.  When he finds that she is not at the compound and has left to return to her people, he knows that he must follow her.  Patrick will not rest until he has destroyed her, will he be too late?  Will he be able to find her in time?  Where is she hiding?  Can Marcus keep her safe and find a way to stop his brother and the rabids? Can Belle convince her people that to survive they must form an alliance with the Vampires? ~TSRBR
