Shara is trapped between not wanting to help capture Kiril a Dragon King and her family who will kill her if she doesn’t succeed in trapping him.  She knows that if she stays with her family that her brother will either kill her or give her to another Dark Fae as a mate.  Shara wants to choose her own destiny and not be controlled by anyone.  When her father allows her some freedom from the constant supervision of her brother she decides that she will find her own husband. Upon entering the Dark realm she finds herself confronted by none other than Balladyn, second in command only to the King.  Balladyn would be a perfect husband, one that even her family would not dare to offend.  She would be safe if aligned with him and the only thought that taunted her was that of her beloved dragon and how she would never see him again. But is Balladyn really what he appears to be on the surface?  Or is there more to him than he lets others see?  Will she be jumping from one fire into an inferno? 

Kiril is tormented by his feelings for a Dark Fae, Shara. He knows that if he stays in Cork he will try to find her, to hold her, to see her again.  His mission from the beginning has been to locate Rhi and free her from the Dark Fae.  Kiril had high hopes that Shara would become an ally and help him locate Rhi.  But can he trust her not to betray him?  She is after all a Dark Fae and her mission had been to seduce him then trap him for her family to use.  Kiril cannot deny the feelings that he has for her, but does she feel the same.  Where is she? Has something happened to her?   

The only thing that they both can do is trust that the other is telling the truth and will not betray that trust!  Lives are in the balance, humanity is at stake and love may be the cost.

Would I recommend this book: Yes! This book has it all!  It is a Sci-Fi, paranormal romance with hot sexy dragons, dark dangerous fae, lust, betrayal and out of this world dragon sex!

Would I read other books by this author: Yes! Ms. Grant does not disappoint her reading audience with her unique plot and exceptional characters.  This author is a definite add to anyone’s must read list!
