Review of If He's Wicked (Wherlocke #1) by Hannah Howell

For Chloe Wherlocke, it all begins with a vision--a glimpse into the future that foretells a terrible plot against Lord Julian Kenwood and his newborn son. Chloe's psychic gift allows her to save the child from certain death, but the earl remains in grave peril. . .
Julian Kenwood knows someone is trying to kill him and he suspects his scheming wife and her lover are behind the plot. But Julian is shocked when Chloe, a captivating, dark-haired stranger, warns him that sinister forces are indeed at hand--and exposes a devastating secret that changes his life forever. . .

As Chloe reveals her plan to save Julian, neither can deny the attraction that grows each moment they're together. Chloe knows the highborn earl could never love her as she loves him. But when danger strikes closer than ever, Chloe must risk everything--or lose Julian forever. . .

Overall Rating:  4.25 Rockin’ ★★★★
In the historical romance novel, If He's Wicked by Hannah Howell the author has created a world of spies, conspiracy, and sensual romance among the high-class members of the ton with a splash of paranormal tendencies in her characters.  Lady Chloe Wherlocke and Julian Anthony Charles Kenwood, the ninth earl of Colinsmoor, find their way through many obstacles to find a love so strong that neither can deny its pull.

Julian's life is in danger and Chloe knows that she must help protect his future after receiving a dream that would change his future.  Chloe's gift is seeing the future and even though she doesn't know the earl, she believes it is her duty to act upon her dream.  Once a plan is set all that remains is waiting for the earl to recognize the peril he is in.

From the beginning of this story I was intrigued by the spin the author created within a historical romance. Each character came alive as I read and the bond between the main couple was sweet yet intense.  I enjoyed the cousins and the humor they brought to the story.  This is a great addition to your library especially if you are looking to turn back time.
