Review: Hansel Part Four by Ella James

hansel part four.jpg
Hansel.
Gretel.

They were captives who shared a wall, and cut a hole in it so they could hold each other's hands. Until he killed their captor, Mother. Then he disappeared, and as the world swooped in to save the Children locked away in Mother's house, the girl called Gretel became...lost. No breadcrumbs.

Finding Hansel, years later, is the shock of Leah McKenzie's adult life. Finding out how far she'll go for him - that's no surprise.

Leah's given Hansel - Lucas, he says it is - every piece of herself. And he's been both cruel and kind.

What they share is dangerous.
What they feel is dark.
Their history is twisted.
Their hearts already broken.
And that's before the secrets are revealed.

Overall Rating:  4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆
Wow!  This 4th book of Ella James' book Hansel is hot, sexy and heart-wrenching!  From the beginning of the story Ella has a way of capturing the reader, drawing you in and keeping you hooked.  This book was everything I was hoping for.  The characters will tug at your heart in a way that makes you feel part of the story.

Lucas, aka Hansel has finally gotten what he wanted, but he is so haunted by his past!  Leah, aka Gretel has such an optimistic view on everything, even though she's been through hell and back.  Loving Lucas, even though they met under terrible circumstances, he is all she wants.

This story made me so sad.  It tugged at my heart and left me feeling awful and then rejoicing all at the same time.  Ella James is magnificent in the way her words flow.  I love her fairy tale books.  This one definitely did not disappoint.  I an honestly say that I love everything this author creates.  I can't wait to see what's next!  Thanks for rocking my world, Ella!

Would I recommend this book: Yes!  You have to read all of the books in the series to really understand it, but they are quick reads.  I think that if you want to live in a fantastical, yet real life story this ones for you!

Would I read other books by this author: Yes!  Without a doubt, I would read anything Ella James put out!  She is one of my favorite authors!  Her creativeness is explosive and addictive!
