Review: Throb by Vi Keeland

The rules:

No dating.
No sex outside of the game.
No disclosing the terms of the contract.

Rules were made to be broken, right?

Eight weeks ago I signed a contract. One that seemed like a good idea at the time. A handsome bachelor, luxury accommodations, and a chance to win a prize my family desperately needed. There were some rules though. Lots of them actually. Follow the script, no dating, sex, or disclosing the terms of the deal. After my self-imposed moratorium on men the last year, it wouldn’t be hard to live up to my end of the bargain…so I thought. Until I realized the deal I’d made was with the devil…and I was in love with his dirty-talking brother.

Overall Rating:  4.25 Rockin’ ★★★★

Reality TV Romance meets real world love…and the winner is!

Circumstances have put Kate into a situation that called for desperate actions on her part.  She signed on the dotted line to be part of a reality show that pairs one bachelor with a group of women that want him to choose them.  Kate agreed not to date, have sex or disclose anything about the show to or with anyone outside the show.  The grand prize is $250,000!  That is just want she needs to save her family home, care for invalid brother and sick mother.  Everything was going great until she met Cooper at a friendly poker game, then all bets are off.  The attraction sizzles and electricity sparks between the two of them.  Will she be strong enough to deny her feelings and do what needs to be done?

Cooper cannot believe he has finally met the woman he wants forever with and she is keeping him at arm’s length. When his brother comes to him for money to finance his next project, Cooper can’t believe it when he sees his Kate on the preview DVD.  His brother is the one in charge of the project that Kate has committed herself to until completion.  There is no way he can stay away from her for that long, so he finds himself haunting the filming. Can he convince her to spend time with him?  After all, rules are meant to be broken, especially when true live is involved.  Will Kate let him help her and leave the show?  Or will their HEA be lost in reality TV?
