Releasing April 28th, 2015
World Literary Press

Wyatt Armstrong never imagined that instead of celebrating his college graduation, he and his twin sister would be dealing with the death of their parents.  Then again, Wyatt had never been one to think past tomorrow. He heads to their summer home in Harborside, Massachusetts, with his best friend Cassidy Lowell in tow, to deal with his parents’ death and to try to figure out his next step.

Six foot two, infuriatingly handsome, and flirtatious, Wyatt Armstrong has always been there for Cassidy, helping her pass her classes and fend off unwanted advances, while driving her insane with his one-night stands—but that’s what best friends are for, isn’t it? Having each other’s backs. There was never any doubt that she would accompany him to his family’s summer home—but she never expected to begin seeing Wyatt as more than a friend. Or has she been ignoring her feelings all along?

It’s impossible to ignore the sizzling heat between them as Wyatt and Cassidy get even closer, but Cassidy knows Wyatt’s past, and she has a real job to begin in the fall. Wyatt may be a sure thing for the summer, but Cassidy needs more. For the first time in his life, Wyatt is forced to look toward the future if he doesn’t want to lose the one woman who’s shared his past and owns his heart.

Overall Rating:  4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆

When you are in love with your best friend, what do you do?  You don’t want to take the chance of losing that friendship, but at the same time you want more.  This is the first book in a new series by New York Times & USA Today bestselling author, Melissa Foster.  The main characters, Cassidy and Wyatt must answer these questions as well as face many other dilemmas.

Being an only child is lonely, but being an only child that feels like you are in your parents way puts a whole different spin on loneliness.  If were not for her best friend, Wyatt Armstrong and his family she would have no one that cared about her.  The Armstrong’s had always been there for her, including her in their lives like one of their own.  Wyatt had always been there as her friend and protector.  They were finally graduating from college and preparing to move forward into their chosen fields.

When Wyatt’s mom and dad are killed in a tragic accident, Cassidy agrees to help anyway she can. Since she has the summer off before moving to New York she decides to spend the summer with them at Harborside in Massachusetts. She has been fighting her feelings for Wyatt, and wants more than just being his best friend. Tension begins to sizzle between the two of them and for the first time dissention is brewing in paradise.

She has always been his best friend, his confidant and the person he could always go to with his problems.  But lately his feelings have started to change.  He is becoming more possessive and protective of her.  What is happening?  The sexual awareness that he feels whenever he is around her is increasing exponentially.  He knows that he has been a man-whore and has paraded his conquest in front of her, so why does he want that to change? Can best friends become forever lovers?
