The heir and his spare…this is the story of the spare, an almost immortal Viking. Bound by Fire is the second book in her series, the Cauld Ane by the multi-talented author Tracey Jane Jackson. In this amazing exploration into the world of the Cauld Ane, we find out about another of the brothers Gunnach and his discovery of his forever mate. The first book was extremely read worthy, but this book is unquestionably my favorite so far. Pepper and Connall are characters that exhibit so many layers, that the more you uncover about them the more you want to know.
Pepper’s best friend, Samantha is getting married and has returned home from Scotland with her fiancé. Pepper and Sam had planned on living together in Scotland while Pepper went to school and Sam worked. Everything is the same but different, especially when Pepper starts hearing a voice in her head! A very dominate male voice! When Pepper meets Connall, Sam’s soon to be brother-in-law something electric, sizzles between them. Pepper doesn’t sizzle for anyone, so why does Connall seem like more?
Connall cannot believe he has found his one! His brother’s fiancé’s best friend is his forever mate! The one woman that will complete him and the woman he has waited centuries for!
