Overall Rating:  3.75 Rockin'
"Something big was about to go down with the demons in Rochester, and he was determined to find out what it was."

"She was forced to admit to herself that David was a like a fine bottle of top shelf whiskey that only got better and better with age."

"There are no guarantees in life."

David Aronowitz is part of the EU- Execution Underground:  a secret organization for the sole purpose of controlling any and all paranormal activities.  Demons, shifters, Ghosts, Witches, etc.   Allsun O'Hare is a half Fae, half human whose current job is a veterinary technician and can exercise demons to boot.  David and Alllsun have a stark history together.  David had been in love with Allsun since grade school and Allsun loved David every bit as much.  Their passion and love was undeniably hot and yet almost surreal. Once engaged, but parted on unhappy terms they are thrust back together to battle the evils of hideous demons who are terrorizing the Rochester area.

This story gripped me from the start and sparked my interest.  Although, some of it was a little hard to take with the demonic tones that were ever present throughout the book;  the murders and blood lust driven by the demons who acted upon them.  However, the passion and pull between the couple made me feel sad and almost bereft for the loss and anguish they were put through.  I enjoyed reading this book, aside from the blood and gore.  The characters were well created and I laughed and cried with them.  I look forward to reading the next book in the series...Grēta
