Jaguar Hunt (Heart of the Jaguar #3) by Terry Spear

An agent and a jaguar-shifter chase trouble, and each other, through the jungles of Belize...

Agent Tammy Anderson has a reputation: she prefers to work alone. So when she’s paired up on a mission with jaguar-shifter David Patterson—who’s only recently been released from jail—to say she’s less than thrilled is a understatement. Until she realizes that this sexy agent has what it takes…

Soon, what started as an “easy” mission to locate a missing jaguar takes the pair to Belize, where they’re chasing down two renegade teen shifters who know more than they’re telling. As the action heats up, can they keep their minds on the job and off of each other?

David is in pursuit of twin jaguar boys that have information needed in an investigation involving a missing wild jaguar. Tammy a female jaguar agent is working on finding the missing jaguar and has been told she needs to work with David and combine their two cases.

His current task as a Special Forces Golden Claw JAG agent was to follow two unruly teens-jaguar shifter twins Ale and Nate Taylor-and bring them into the JAG branch if they violated one more law, jaguar shifter or otherwise.

Overall rating: 4 Rockin’

David is thrown into jail for defending the twins from a brutal bouncer.  Tammy his new partner bails David out of jail and immediately takes off leaving him to finds his own way home.  David is not worried because he knows where she is headed, the airport and then Belize.

Tammy knew David Patterson was trouble.  If he had caused problems growing up, he clearly hadn’t changed at all-if picking him up from jail wasn’t enough of a hint. And where would that lead when she had to work with him on the mission.

The twin boys have another pair of twins, Peter and Hans helping them in Belize.  They are slowly starting to trust Tammy and David and warn them about a mole in the agencies they work for.  Accidents start to happen! A cut zip line, a sniper taking shots at them and Tammy being pushed into a raging river let them know that they are on the right track.

“Thanks for coming to my rescue,” she said softly, feeling dreamy and comfortable with him, like they belonged together like this, like they’d been together for a while.  Facing danger did that to shifters-brought them closer.

The trail leads David, Tammy and the twins back home to the states and traveling circus.  Will they find out who the mole is and also where the missing jaguar is located?

“You never know about relationships,” she said noncommittally.
