A Perfect Moment is Becca Lee’s debut novel,
and she more than exceeded my expectations.
This book has humor, suspense, danger, love, lust, a really sexy firemen
and a feisty-redhead, too! This
contemporary romance is a wonderfully written story of friends falling in love
and the healing that occurs to a wounded heart that once was shattered by
betrayal.
Ella and Preston, the main characters, are hilarious
together. I loved the way she refers to
him as my bff’s baby brother.
He has always carried a torch for Ella and she remains ignorant of his
love and desire for her. I really
enjoyed watching the relationship develop between Ella and Preston. They had been friends growing up so when he
decides to up the ante and make Ella his; he doesn’t
hesitate to show his dominating alpha side.
Overall, this is an awesome novel that I highly recommend you
read. The author cultivates each
characters’ flaws, desires, hopes, and dreams; thus enabling
you to feel a close connection to them.
I’m looking forward to reading more books in this
series. I already cannot wait for Liam
and Jo's story. I know it will be just
as entertaining, if the ending to this book was any indication. Excellent work, Becca! Thanks for creating these amazing characters
