When you have spent the last eight years of your life in an off again on again relationship with a man that says he loves you but can’t keep it in his pants, what’s a girl supposed to do?  That is exactly the way things had gone between Jacqueline and Bond until six months ago when she had finally said enough is enough it is over.  She had broken up with Bond and told him that they would continue to be friends but no more sex! Bond however would not take no for an answer and after six months of no in an intoxicated moment she succumbed only to regret it the next day.  Now there is another twist in their relationship when Bond’s best friend tells Jacqueline that he has been more than interested in her for the past five years and wants a chance with her.

 

Aidan (Red) has watched for the last five years the on and off relationship between Bond and Jacqs waiting for the opportunity to move in and claim her as his.  He finally reached the point where he could not wait any longer or risk losing her forever.  Aidan wants to wrap her in his love and protect her with everything he has.  The only thing holding him back is Bond and the friendship they have shared since they were children.  Bond will not let Jacqs in but at the same time he won’t let her go because he really believes that he loves her. The past haunts him and continues to lead him down a path of self-destruction. 

 

Even though Jacqs and Red are moving into a relationship that both know is about love and forever, how can they move on without Bond? Bond is the glue that holds their group of friends together and a relationship between Red and Jacqs could destroy that.   Will Bond finally let go of Jacqs and let her move on with Red?  Can they find happiness at the expense of their friend?  Is it possible for Jacqs to not love Bond?  The answers to how the trio solves their problems can be found in the book!

Would I recommend this book: Yes! Is it possible to love two people at the same time?  Ms. Bennett is an artist in the way that she weaves her story into a beautifully written book about love, trust, loyalty and true friendship.  This is a must read book for those that enjoy unique situations that keep you engaged until the very end.

Would I read other books by this author: Yes! I am excited about reading the next book in the Bound by Your Love Series and can’t wait to see what happens with Lainie!
