Prince Viper d’Rojah, a warrior from the Sarafin cat shifter species, is not happy when he is sent on a special mission by his older brother Vox, King of the Sarafin. The mission is to deliver important documents to the human authorities before kidnapping the sister and grandmother of Vox’s mate, Riley. He has handled tougher assignments in his sleep and just wants to get back to finding the traitors trying to kill him and his family!
Tina St. Claire was finally happy with her life until her big sister, Riley, suddenly disappeared. Even Grandma Pearl suspected that Riley’s ex-employer was hiding something. Determined to find Riley, Tina’s research unwittingly leads the danger to her and Grandma Pearl. The unexpected arrival of a strange man causes things to go from bad to worse when he gives her and Grandma Pearl a packet of material he claims is from Riley.

In this the second book of the Sarafin Warriors series we find our hero sent on an errand by his King and older brother, Vox. He is to travel to Earth and return with his mate’s sister and grandmother. This is the story of Viper’s journey and him finding his mate, Tina.
Viper is not expecting to find his mate, he doesn’t want a mate, he is not ready for a mate, but he finds his mate in Tina St. Claire! He cannot believe that his brother has sent him on a babysitting job like this! His responsibility is to his King, family and people. Someone is trying to kill them and he needs to uncover those behind the plot, not wonder around the universe collecting women. Especially, when it is women that have no respect for those trying to protect them and keep them safe. The goddess must be extremely angry with him to send him a mate that refuses to accept him.
Tina has always been reserved. She would rather be alone and keeps everyone at arm’s length, except for her sister and grandmother. When a strange man arrives and says that her sister sent him to get them, the battle begins. Her sister disappeared six months ago and Tina had tried everything to find her and now this strange being is trying to tell her that her sister is no longer on Earth! What’s a girl to do? Taser him, tranquilize him, and do whatever until she can get some answers of course. He is kind’ a cute though, but men are not to be trusted according to my Grandma Pearl.
There are evil forces working against those fighting to protect and serve their people. Evil that if left unleashed will destroy everything in its path. Viper must keep Tina safe and at the same time find out who is behind the plot to take over his world.
