Allie and Sam set out to solve the mystery, at first on their own, but are drawn to the passion they bring out in each other. Allie's involvement in a memorial for the deceased causes her to be thrown in the crossfire of the real killer. Together they solve the crime and finally come together in a happily ever after ending.
