Review of Rodeo (FMX Bros, #2) by Tess Oliver

Book 2 of Tess Oliver's bestselling FMX Bros series. The series that's being called "fantastic", "refreshing" and "fun".

Six years ago, Parker "Rodeo" Stevens left Montana and his dad's horse ranch to follow his dreams of riding freestyle motocross in California. And he's never looked back. But when hometown ex-girlfriend Sayler Russell shows up in town, she stirs up all kinds of old feelings, plenty of passion and a whole lot of trouble.

Sayler Russell left Montana to get away from a terrible marriage. She takes refuge in California and soon finds herself back in the arms of Parker Stevens, the one person in Montana who ever understood her. But a bad decision has put her in danger and now she has no choice but to run again.

Overall Rating:  4 Rockin’ ★★★★
What do you get when you mix a cowboy and an FMX rider? You get Tess Oliver’s amazing second book in her FMX Bros. series! Once again the complex mind of Ms. Oliver interweaves a remarkable tale of a good, bad boy that will leave you breathless and laughing at the same time.  Rodeo is a book that you will defiantly want to have in your library for your reading enjoyment.
It all started with a free pitcher of beer coupon!  The strip club was just an added bonus! Everything was ok until the stripper was a blast from Rodeo’s past, a past he thought he had left in Montana living her HEA. He wants to help her, find out how she ended in a strip joint and why she didn’t contact him.  Sayler is keeping secrets and he needs her to open up and let him in again.  The old feelings are still just as strong as when they were both crazy, trouble making teens. His instincts are going wild, protect her and keep her safe.  Could she be his one?
Trouble seemed to follow her like a dark cloud!  Known for not being the best decision maker, Sayler Russell just couldn’t seem to shake the results of those decisions.  They just kept following her, haunting her and not letting go!  She thought she had covered her tracks well and was hidden from those consequences that were after her.  Then in walks her past, Parker Steven, her ex-boyfriend. It had been six years since he left and she had not listened to his warnings about the man she intended to marry. She should have listened to him! You know that old saying ‘out of the frying pan into the fire’ that is exactly where Sayler found herself.  Involving Parker in her trouble is not going to happen, even if he wants to, she cannot let him.
This is Parker ‘Rodeo’ Stevens and Sayler Russell’s story.  It is about two exceptional individuals that know how to get in trouble without even trying. The characters are realistic and at the same time the storyline will keep you reading until the end.  Sizzling hot action with a beautiful underlying love story completes this book, thank you Ms. Oliver.
