The Perfect Hostage was my first book to read by Misty Evans and without a doubt it will not be the last! This military romance was a quick and easy read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters were entertaining and the plot kept me engaged. There was action, drama, hot sex, and passion delivered into a nice little story.
In the beginning, John doesn't want a relationship and Lucie is passionate about pursuing one with John. She has her mind set on spending the weekend alone with him so she can convince him. The amazing chemistry that develops between the couple is undeniably steamy. I look forward to reading more of this series.
