Allie’s life was forever changed the day Zac walked into the diner that she was working at. His beautiful eyes held her frozen to the spot the moment she looked into them. Zac is exactly the kind of man that she wants to lose her virgin card too! Only he doesn’t approach her or ask for her phone number. That’s just Allie’s luck; find that someone that she is finally interested in and it goes nowhere! Typical of her life, she lost her mother to cancer, her job to the economy and now a beautiful man. What else can happen to her?
Joel looked at me with scared eyes. “Remember how you said you’d always be there for me?”
“Of course.”
“Well I need you help now.” His lips twisted upwards in a grim, humorless smile, and I nodded rapidly.
“I need twenty thousand dollars.”
Allie cannot believe her baby brother is asking her for twenty thousand dollars! She had lost her job and was working as a waitress to keep a roof over her head. There was no way she could come up with that kind of money. Even though she had promised her mother that she would take care of Joel, there was no way she could bail him out of this.
Joel said, “It’s serious. If I don’t have the money…”
His voice trailed off and I said, “What? If you don’t have the money…?”
“He says he’ll break my leg.”
Allie runs into Zac at a bar where she was meeting her roommate. Zac rescues her from an offensive blind date. But once again he does not pick up on the intense reaction that they have to each other.
“Would you like to come upstairs?” He shook his head. “I shouldn’t.”
“Oh.” I hid my surprise. There was nothing to be surprised about, really. The ones you liked, never like you back.
While searching online for “high-paying freelance work” to make some money to help Joel, Allie stumbles across a classified site for escort services. With a recent ad describing someone that could be her. Allie replies and decides that it is Zac requesting services. The man on the site is willing to pay 25K for one night so Allie agrees to meet him. This will save her brother!
And then it hit me with a whoosh! I was going to lose my virginity.

Would I recommend this book: Yes! This book is about a Mystery Man that meets a naive young woman that doesn’t have a clue about the real world and how things work. The ending leaves you wanting the next book immediately to find out what happens next.
