Review: Bound for Hell (Bound Trilogy #1) by Kendra Leigh

Ethan Wilde. Billionaire. Business Man.
Passionate. Powerful. Persistent.
One of New York’s most eligible bachelors.

Angel Lawson. Photographer. Gallery Owner.
Burdened. Beautiful. Broken.
A woman bound by the ropes of her sins and forgotten past, fearful of her future.

A chance encounter…

Consumed by guilt and tormented by the bonds of a tragic past, Angel Lawson’s life has been a solitary journey, condemned to live without love. In order to preserve her damaged soul from further rejection, sex is as close to a man as she ever plans to get. She was already hell-bound for her sins. One more wasn’t going to hurt...

… or so she thought.

When a passionate encounter throws her into the world of Ethan Wilde, Angel is helpless to resist the irrefutable desire and depth of raw emotion he ignites in her.

Ethan is as intense as he is sinfully sexy. Irretrievably captivated by Angel, he seems just as intent on understanding her naked soul as he is desperate to possess every inch of her naked body.

Angel craves his touch like a drug and yearns for the love he promises, but surrendering to the feelings he’s unearthed will mean exposing her fears and releasing the demons buried for a lifetime. Exposing her heart will leave it at risk of being broken.

Will Angel choose to leave her life of solitude behind, or is the choice no longer hers?

Ethan Wilde is used to getting what he wants … and what he wants is Angel.

Bound For Hell

Book 1 of The Bound Trilogy, by Kendra Leigh.

Relentlessly sexy. Emotionally deep. Tangled, twisted, intricately woven love story with romance and suspense. For readers 18 and over due to explicit sexual content.

Overall Rating:  4.25 Rockin’ ★★★★

This book is a cross between Cinderella and Fifty Shades of Gray.  You have your mistreated princess, two evil brothers and a wicked father.  Then there is Prince Charming trying to win his Cinders love and save her from her cruel family.  This Charming also just happens to be a billionaire bad boy that takes no prisoners and anyone that tries to hurt his Cinder will answer to him.

In this first book in the Bound Trilogy, author Kendra Leigh tells a story of untold mental cruelty towards an innocent, by those that should have protected and cared for a broken child.  Treated like a step-daughter from the tender age of six, Angel Lawson has accepted her father and brothers’ accusations and taunts about her worthlessness, and how she killed her mother! Growing up in this kind of environment is debilitating, especially when you are made to feel invisible and unloved.  The lesson she has learned is keep your heart guarded, protect yourself by not letting anyone get close and keep relationships to sex only with no commitments. That is until her eyes connect with a man that she knows will change her life forever, Ethan Wilde.

The explosion of chemistry between the two is so intense that neither can deny the need for the other.  Will Ethan be the one that helps her heal?  Ethan Wilde is not only wealthy, incredibly handsome, and one of the most eligible bachelors in New York, he is also from a nurturing family.  His family had always been supportive and loving.  When he meets the woman of his dreams it is difficult for him to understand the life that she has known and the heart wrenching horror of living with so much guilt! You will laugh with Ethan and Angel, cry with them as they try to heal and feel abhorrence towards evil that some people take joy in administering. Jump on the Angel and Ethan ride and find out if they get their HEA!
