Mix a bad boy shifter enforcer with a feisty kidnapped woman and you have the beginning of a fantastic read. A Tiger’s Bounty by Terry Bolryder is the first book in her Tiger Protectors series and each book can be read as a stand alone. This is the story about the first of three brothers that were raised and trained by dragons as enforcers for the shifter community. Amber is a human and Jace a tiger shifter, this is their story as they hunt for their happily ever after.
Jace is a loner, believes in the work he does as an enforcer and protects those that cannot protect themselves. While on an assignment, he finds a beautiful woman that has been kidnapped, drugged and at the mercy of dregs of the shifter world. For some reason, he cannot leave her behind and takes her to his lair. What is it about this woman that makes it impossible for him to leave her alone? He cannot afford a weakness and Amber is a weakness for him.
What could a man like Jace want with a woman like her? She is just a normal every day kind of woman and he is a beautiful sexy male that could have his choice of any woman on the planet. But someone is after Amber and she needs Jace to help her find out who and keep her safe. The more time she is around Jace the more Amber wants to be his. Will they find a way to make that happen?
Ms. Bolryder is a phenomenal paranormal author. Her books weave tales of mythical shifters and their parallel lives within the human world. Always in the shadows but at times they step into the sunshine and find their human mates. Each character in this book was well developed and the storyline will ensnare the reader. This book does not have a cliffhanger and is a great addition to my paranormal library.
