A Vampire's Salvation by Virna DePaul

Includes a special message from the editor, as well as excerpts from these Loveswept titles: Along Came Trouble, Hero of My Heart, and Arrested by Love.

Francesca Marie Stewart has never wanted any man as much as she wants Jake Rios. His chiseled body and dark, intensely masculine energy draw her like a moth to a flame. But Frankie has been burned before, and now a mysterious figure from her troubled past has resurfaced with a terrifying new threat. Can she trust Jake not only with her heart but with her very life?

Jake’s hunger to possess this beautiful redhead goes beyond searing desire. He’s a vampire, and his very existence depends on bonding with a mate. He aches to ravish Frankie, but he must take it slow—for what he will ask of her will require profound sacrifice even as it gives her unimaginable pleasure. And once he has claimed her—body and soul—Jake will go to any lengths to protect her.

***I received an ARC of this book from the Publisher, via Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review***

“So what do you want?” she asked, striving to sound calm but knowing she sounded hostile instead.

“Don’t you know?” His voice was deep and gravelly, like rough work-worn fingers trailing against the most delicate parts of her.

"He’d take not just her body, but her blood.  She’d fill him up, nourish him for an eternity."

"Despite everything-despite what he was and what he’d done-she loved him."

This is a new twist on the vampire story!  Our Hero must find his soul mate, his other half before his 201st birthday or his immortality would be reversed. He would lose his strength, and die alone without a mate or children.  Yes that’s right, children!  The good news is our heroine Frankie is that special someone.  He just has to tell her he is immortal, she is his mate and he needs her blood.
