~Review: The Invitation: Prequel (The Invitation #1) by Roxy Sloane~

"It’s my last night in town, and I’m not flying home until this girl is flat on her back with her ankles up around her shoulders and I'm so deep inside her she'll never want another man again."

Hot, English businessman Ashton Pierce made a pact not to screw up his friendship with Justine ‘JJ’ Jenkins over a cheap one-night stand. Now, two years later, he’s going out of his mind with wanting her -- but she’s still off-limits.

Now school is over, and his control is wearing thin. They've got one last night together, and he’s determined to make it an experience she’ll never forget.

The one girl he swore off is going to have the night of her life. And with a sexy game of dare on the table, it won’t take long...

Overall Rating:  4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆

Can a guy be your best friend with a no sex clause?  For two years Justine and Ash have walked that path together, BFF's only!  Their last night together changes everything for both of them.

Justine cannot believe that she made that stupid pack with Ash when they first met each other.  A pack that they both have held true too until the night of her graduation.  He would be headed back to England and his ancestral home to take learn and eventually take over the family business.  She would be starting her job at a prestigious law firm and preparing for her bar exams.  This would be their final night together.

This will be the night that they both will never be able to forget.  Their last night together when they put aside their pack and give into their need for each other.  Will they be able to keep it to a one night only stand and still be best friends?

The author tells this story from the main characters POV, alternating between them as the plot unfolds.  It explains Ashton and Justine's beginnings and how they become so important to each other.

Would I recommend this book:  Yes!  This is a prequel to The Invitation Book 2, the next book in this series.  It is a smoking hot short read with love, lust and domination.

Would I recommend this author:  Yes! Roxy Sloane has never disappointed me with any of her novels.  This is a teaser of what is to come in Ashton and Justine's story.  Put this author on your MRL, I have!
