Throw away all of your preconceived ideas about werewolves, their legends and folk lore about them. Wolf's Ascension by Lauren Dane is a book in her Cherchez Wolf Pack series that will blow you away! Ms. Dane has created an amazing group of hunk-a-licous werewolves searching for their fated mates and strong alpha females as their counter parts. The best place to begin any story is with the top wolf, the alpha, the king.
Andreas needs a queen and he has found her! His only problem is she is human and will have to be brought over to her Wolfie side. Only one problem the wolf he sent to watch over her, to protect her jumped the gun and started her transition. Now he has no choice but to kidnap her, keep her isolated until the full moon and convince her to accept him as her other half. No problem for a werewolf King, right?
Why did she go down that alley at night? She knew that was not what she should have done. Nothing had prepared her for the agony and pain of the violent attack, but she would not succumb, she was a fighter. When Kari wakes up in the hospital and is told she has no physical damage to her body, she cannot believe it. The next time she wakes up the sexiest male she has ever seen is standing by her bed and it is not a hospital bed. Not only that, but he says he is a werewolf and she is one now too. Crazy right? The interaction between the main characters add to the depth of the plot. I cannot wait to read more about the Cherchez Wolf Pack.
