~Review: Revive (Storm MC #3) by Nina Levine~

He doesn’t do relationships. Neither does she. But they can’t fight the attraction any longer…

Nash Walker hides the demons that consume his soul. He buries them deep and distracts himself with sex. Anything to avoid facing a past full of heartbreak and regret; anything to numb the pain that he struggles with daily.

Velvet Carr has spent years fighting her demons. It’s a fight she’s winning. That is, until Nash crashes his way into her life and into her heart.

It started out as a bit of harmless fun between friends; it wasn’t meant to get complicated for either of them. But when two broken souls come together and arouse unwanted feelings in each other, complicated is what happens.

Can Nash and Velvet help heal each other and revive the love in their lives that they’ve both been refusing to allow in for years? Or will they let their demons ruin any chance they may have at happiness?

Overall Rating:  4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆

This book is not your typical motorcycle romance; this is a brotherhood of men who are family.  Oh yes, it has motorcycles, leathers and sexy alpha men with their strong sassy ole ladies, but it also shows a different side of the MC life.    It explores a lifestyle that exhibits the strength of loyalty, support and every lasting friendship that the members feel toward each other.  Revive is the third book in Nina Levine's Storm MC Series and the author does not let us down.  This is Velvet and Nash's story.

Velvet is a beautiful woman, fearless and caring about those she loves.  Her loving heart and beautiful soul attracts Nash and pulls him to her and the resolution of his past that being with her promises.  She has worked at Indigo as a stripper to pay the bills but wants more for her life. During her off time she takes classes to become a beautician to make something of herself and to not always be locked into her present life as a stripper.  Velvet cares deeply about her family and friends and supports them anyway that they need her too.

Nash's has trust issues because of his past and he finds it hard to let go.  His past had really messed with his heart, mind and body.  He is a brooding sexy alpha suffering from the things in his past that he can’t seem to let go of.  He suffers daily from the scars that have been inflected on his soul.  The only relief Nash can find from his torment is sexual release and he uses that to find a form of liberation from his past.  Nash really cares for Velvet. He sees her pain and suffering and the shields she erects to keep others from hurting her.  Their attraction is unstoppable and although they both carry scars from the past, their pain continues to force them toward each other.  Will they both be able to overcome their past and find a future together? Read this book to find out!  You won't regret the one-click!

This is a great book.  The plot is well developed and the use of characters from previous books plays an integral part in the drama that unfolds.  It was an enjoyable part catching up with them, and getting a glimpse of how their lives are changing.  This book should be added to your MUST read list today!  It is full of all the things you look for in a good book; drama, angst, twists and turns and romance.  Thank you, Nina for the great read and hours of entertainment! ~TSRBR

Would I recommend this book:  Yes.  Revive is the perfect addition to the Storm MC series.  You are pulled in as the drama continues for the gang and you anticipate the outcome for the two main characters, Velvet and Nash.

Would I recommend this author:  Yes.  Nina Levine is brilliant in her skills as a writer of good fictional romance. Her series is a must read and I personally cannot wait for her next book in this series, Slay!  This is Blade's story!!!!!
