This is the first book in a two book series by Bella Jewel. It involves a man that is driven by ambition and is totally devoid of emotions. A man that does whatever needs to be done to get what he wants! When he is given an ultimatum in his grandfather’s will, get married or you will be disinherited and loose the family company, he plans how to do whatever he has to do. How hard can it be to find an unsuspecting woman and convince her to marry him? Nothing ever turns out as planned though and this is that story!
Katia is a beautiful, loving woman that always takes care of those she loves. She works hard to care for her sick mother and to provide for all her needs even if means working herself to death. Her boss is a terror and a bully that takes of Katia’s situation by overworking her and underpaying her. When she stumbles into an Adonis at a friend’s birthday party, she feels like she has been struck by a MAX truck.
When Marcus accidentally bumps into Katia he knows that she is the answer to his problem. She is perfect one to solve his problem with his grandfather’s will. Katia is educated, beautiful and he is attracted to her so it should not be a problem. He can give up his playboy ways for a while and fulfill the demands of the will. All Marcus has to do is convince her that he is in love with her, keep her happy and then business as usual. What could possibly go wrong?

Would I recommend this book: Yes! This is a love story that starts out for all the wrong reasons and yet appears perfectly normal. The hero is steaming hot and the heroine falls deeply in love with him.
Would I recommend this author: Yes! I have yet to read anything that Bella Jewel writes that I have not enjoyed! Her characters are amazingly real and her plot is well thought out and well developed. You will not be disappointed with this author’s work.
