Review: Need You Now (1001 Dark Nights #7) by Lisa Renee Jones

What happens when you meet a stranger in a bar and decide to have a one night stand?  Could this be the beginning of a HEA?  This is the prelude book to the Shattered Promises series by Lisa Renee Jones.  It is a heart pounding, attention getting read that leaves the reader asking what next?    This is the beginning of Jensen and Danny’s story of love found and nearly lost!
Danny is celebrating her best friend’s birthday when she meets and instantly finds herself attracted to a stranger. The attraction is so strong that even though she is a good girl, she wants to be bad with him. When she almost has a one night stand with her mystery man, she can’t decide if that is a good thing or a bad thing.  However, when she arrives at work the next morning and finds him standing in her bosses’ office she cannot believe her eyes.  Then her boss introduces him as her nephew and her new boss for the next days.  What a way to start your day!
Jensen Miller has a chance meeting with an unforgettable woman.  She is there with her girlfriend celebrating and both women are on their way to being drunk.  He is instantly attracted to her and wants to take her back to his room and have his way with her. There is something about this woman that draws him in and want let go.  When she disappears from his room while he is on the phone he feels like maybe it is for the best.  He really doesn’t have time for a relationship right now.  When his aunt introduces him to his mystery woman the next morning, life takes an unexpected turn for Jensen.
What will happen between our two characters is a story that will keep you reading until the end.  Will Danny open up and trust Jensen?  Can Jensen convince Danny to believe in him?  Read this book to find out more about Danny and Jensen’s journey!

Would I recommend this book:  Yes.  This is a beautiful love story that has it all!  Drama, hot sex, sizzling attraction and anguish that leaves the reader wondering if there can be a HEA for the two main characters!  This is just a small part of this action packed read.

Would I recommend this author:  Yes. Once again Ms. Jones does not disappoint her readers with her offering of this special love story!  I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.
