This is the first book in The Immortal Brothers series by Jacquelyn Frank and it answers many of these questions. It is the unforgettable story of one of one of the immortal brothers that is given the chance to redeem himself from eternal punishment.
When he and his brothers had stolen the gift of immortality their punishment was eternal punishment. Condemned by the Gods and Goddesses to endless imprisonment in a fiery prison, Dethan has almost forgotten what life was like. Each day his body is consumed by fire and then allowed time to heal, only to burn again in a vicious circle of agony and pain. Once he was a proud warrior, a fierce leader of many nations, a war lord without equal, now he has almost forgotten who he once was. When given the chance to redeem himself and his brothers, Dethan accepts the offer to serve the Goddess of Conflict. Would I recommend this book: Yes! This is an amazing read in so many ways. It has an immortal warrior that falls in love with a cursed princess and petty Gods battling for superiority.
Would I recommend this author: Yes! Ms. Frank is on my favorite author list. When you want to reread books by an author, you know that they are exceptional! This is the case with Ms. Frank’s books.
