Review of Enslaved (Brides of the Kindred #14) by Evangeline Anderson

Enslaved is book number 14 in the Brides of the Kindred series. It is a plus-length novel of around 168,000 words

Anything for you Mistress…

Thrace S’ver is an unwilling slave. Drugged and bound, he is taken to the Flesh Bazaar and put up for sale to the highest bidder. But this is not the first time Thrace has been on the auction block—he has a past full of horrors he doesn’t intend to repeat. Desperate to be free, he swears he’ll kill whoever buys him.

Lonnara Trin is the Captain of a merchant ship from the all female planet of Zetta Prime where sexual relations with a male are considered unnatural and wrong. She has no use for males personally, but she needs a big, muscular slave or her business will suffer—Thrace fits the bill.

Soon Mistress and slave are embroiled in a desperate conflict which draws them intimately together. To her surprise, Trin actually begins to have feelings for her slave. And though Thrace swore to be free, he finds himself devoted to his new Mistress. When their differences threaten to tear them apart, Trin tries to grant Thrace his freedom. But she doesn’t realize that his heart has already been… Enslaved.

Overall Rating: 4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆
What would happen if a slave and his mistress fell in love?  What if they were from two very different worlds, one all female and one all male?  Could it really work out?  Enslaved book fourteen in the Brides of the Kindred series by Evangeline Anderson, once again brings us to the collectively created world of Kindred Warriors, strong women and bonds created by the Goddess herself.
Continuing the storyline from the last novel, we are thrust into a story that will have you in stitches one moment, in tears the next and yearning for more until the very end.  Ms. Anderson’s creative mind will blow you away as you read page after page.  The visions she develops, both captivates and inspires.

Thrace S’ver is a Havoc.  The Havoc long ago were a part of the Kindred race, but renounced their partnership and declared never to bond with any female.  The Havoc much like the Kindred are huge males, who protect those they care about.  When Thrace was young he was sold as a slave.  It was a dark and horrific experience for him.  However, after finding himself on the auction block again he vows to kill whoever buys him.  Then he meets his new mistress, Trin and unwillingly, everything changes for Thrace.

Lonnara Trin is from Zetta Prime an all female world.  She is the captain of her own ship and has found herself in need of a male for business purposes, of course.  Trin must acquire a male from the Flesh Bazaar to serve as her slave so that she may sell her goods to a dominating sister world, Yonnie Six.  Instantly when she sees Thrace up for auction she is drawn to him.  Although she doesn’t understand this desire he creates in her, they set out on an adventure that only the Goddess herself could've predicted.

When push comes to shove, Evangeline Anderson delivers time after time.  Her masterful art of penmanship has me enthralled as a reader. I can’t seem to get enough of her Brides of the Kindred series.  This book as well as the rest of her series is a must have in any library. With every word and every page I become more deeply entrenched in her novels.  Hoping that the stories will never end.  I can’t wait to see what happens in the next novel.
