~Review: Ravage Me (Ravage MC #1) by Ryan Michele~

After spending the last two years stuck behind bars for a crime she didn’t commit, Harlow ‘Princess’ Gavelson’s time inside has finally come to an end, and she’s ready for revenge. Unfortunately, being the daughter to the Vice President of the Ravage Motorcycle Club cuts into her plans, as orders must be followed. Trying to settle back into this life is proving difficult when the tables are turned and the woman who framed her is out for blood. Lucky for Princess, growing up in a MC has taught her how to hold her own.

After spending years in hell overseas, Donavon ‘Cruz’ came home to lose the very thing he went into hell for, sending him to the darkest moments of his life. Joining Ravage two years ago was his safe haven, and he protects his family at all costs.

When a dark-haired bombshell struts into the club’s shop, he’s caught off guard but immediately knows she’s the one he’d do anything for. Tough as nails, and taking no crap from anyone, he’s captivated by a woman who could handle this life. Trying to meet the needs of the MC business and follow his heart proves to be difficult when the two collide, and lives are at stake.

Can these two find a way to be together, or will the needs of Ravage cost them everything, including their lives?

Overall Rating:  4 Rockin’ ★★★

Ravage Me is the first book in the Ravage MC series by Ryan Michele.   This is the story of Cruz and Harlow's life as part of the MC.  The club was established by Striker (Pop's dad) in 1954 and grew until it spread across the country under his leadership as the MC President.  Harlow aka Princess grew up as the daughter of the Vice President of the Ravage MC. She not only had Pops, but also most of the brothers who treated her as their own.  When a vicious adversary plots revenge against Harlow, she is sent to jail for two years for a crime she didn't commit. The first 24 hours after Princess is released from prison the drama begins as her adversary goes after her again. Harlow encounters Cruz as she is kickin' some serious booty trying to get to her "man" which turns out to be her motorcycle.

Their story is a quick, steamy, hot read!  Princess is a strong-willed, bull-headed, gun toting biker chick that Cruz is instantly attracted too. Cruz almost immediately lays claim to Harlow after they meet.

"She was everything I never knew I wanted in a woman. She was strong, fierce, smart-assed, loving. And I got all that in the course of a couple hours."

Cruz is ex-military and became a prospect around the time Harlow's prison sentence started.  During the time Harlow was in jail, he becomes a patched member of the club.  The club has become Cruz life and family.  This alpha male dominates the strong-willed heroine throughout the story. She doesn't stand a chance against him.
"I didn't say you were my momma. I said your were my girl, my woman, my ol' lady. End of discussion."

This is a good MC book. The story has some interesting twists and turns that keeps you turning the pages.  The secondary characters are well developed, too. I can't wait to read Casey and GT's story.

Would I recommend this book:  Yes.  This book has many things a reader searches for - hot bikers, steamy sex scenes, and a dominate male that doesn't take no for an answer!

Would I recommend this author: Yes.  The author understands the unity within an MC and how important family is to the members.  The way she continued to build the plot around Princess' enemy with the protectiveness of the club towards her makes you want to read another story.
