Review of Bear-ever Yours (Polar Heat Book 1) by Terry Bolryder

Leah Maitland isn't expecting much when she wins an unexpected, all-expenses paid trip to the Caribbean. Just some sunshine, fruity drinks, and maybe a break from her demanding job as an office manager to the worst boss ever. She definitely isn't expecting Sky Weston, a hot, athletic local dive instructor with surfer blond hair and Caribbean blue eyes who seems determined to rock her world.

Sky is tall, intensely handsome and a polar bear shifter whose family moved to warmer climates. From the moment he looks into Leah's sparkling brown eyes from across the room, he knows he wants the curvaceous beauty for his own.

But as things heat up in the Caribbean, danger is also close on their heels. And if Sky can't convince Leah to trust the passion igniting between them, he might just lose her to the evil bear that is willing to do anything to make her his.

Overall Rating:  4 Rockin’ ★★★★
Bear-Ever Yours is the first book in Terry Bolryder's, Polar Heat series. This whirlwind short story lives up to its name and delivers a forever kind of HEA for bear shifters, Sky and Leah. It all begins when Leah Maitland wins a two week vacation to a tropical paradise in the Cayman Islands. The only thing is one, she didn't enter the contest to begin with and two it might be too good to be true.

The book is simply sweet and entertaining.  Sky's bear recognizes its mate instantly and it’s only a matter of time before he will convince Leah that she is his forever mate.  Leah is naive to the shifter world and frighten by the urges she feels to connect with Sky.  He is a comfort for her.  She is carrying a burden that frightens her and feels trapped in her job.  Especially with Leah’s boss stalking her.

There are some twists that take unexpected turns and insure that the storyline is well developed. The insight into the secondary characters allows for the set-up of the next book in this series. It also includes more hot bodies and sizzling ‘Polar Bear’ shifters in search of their forever mates.
