~Review: Salvation (Defiance #3) by Stephanie Tyler~

Luna is headed for trouble. She knows exactly what the men who run motorcycle clubs are capable of—the ruthless violence, the grabs for power, the brutal treatment of women. The one bright spot in her dark world is being held against his will by a rival gang after sacrificing himself for the sake of the club—without saying goodbye first. She needs to bring Bishop home to Defiance, both for the good of the MC and for herself.

Keller's mafia has thrived in the fallout from the Chaos and their compound is a city of sin, a world of depraved excess where people live in fear with nowhere else to go. When Luna is taken prisoner, Bishop has no choice but to lie. As far as the enemy knows, she's his. It's the one thing that will keep her safe.

Caught off guard, Luna follows Bishop's lead. And that's where the lines begin to blur, because what's been building between them for real is undeniable. But what Keller's protecting is something he'll kill to keep under wraps and with Defiance unable to come to their rescue, and only each other to turn to, Luna and Bishop may be facing their final goodbye.

Overall Rating:  3.5 Rockin’ ★★★☆

This is the story of the Post-Apocalypse and the life that comes after the devastation. It is a place of violence and uncertainty for women living alone without protection.   Luna is such a woman that is fighting to find a way out and a place of refuge where she can live without fear in this Post-Chaos world. Luna had a feeling that things were about to get a lot worse than they were.  When she saw one of her best friends being forced back into the compound she knew it did not bode well for what was about to happen.  She had similar feelings before the Chaos had hit and the storms that hit had changed the world.

Luna was under the protection of Rebel but she wanted more.   So when Bishop appeared in her life she was unable to deny the feelings that he evoked inside her and she let herself go for that one night.  But when he comes to see her the next day she tries to put distance between them.  Luna is happy for the first time and it has everything to do with Bishop so when he leaves without saying goodbye she follows him to another MC Compound to get him back.

Only the Bishop she finds is different, harder not the same.  The connection is still there and he claims her as his old lady to keep her safe and with him.  He knows that they will never be allowed to leave and that she will be used against him to get him to do whatever they want.  Right now it is to fight.  Luna came for Bishop to take him back but had no idea what she was walking into.  Can they escape?  Does Bishop want to leave and return with her?  Will they both be able to admit the need they have for each other and survive the hell of the Post-Chaos World?

Would I recommend this book: Yes! This is an interesting look at how the world could develop after a cataclysmic weather disaster. It also shows the strength of the individual spirit to overcome and survive a brave new world.  Once again love and family are what really matters; with two spirits that are really one united in love life will continue and survive.

Would I read other books by this author: Yes! I really want to read another of the Defiance Series to see what else will happen in this twisted world.
