Mastering Her Role

She blames herself and her inability to express her sexual self.  Jason her neighbor has become a very special friend and helped her survive the humiliation of the last nine months.  What Arianna does not know is that Jason has wanted to be more than just a friend since before their ex’s left.  When Arianna wins a single cruise for two, she decides it’s time to step out of her comfort zone and find out about her other side.  With this in mind she asks Jason to introduce her to his friend Dominic.  Dominic is a man that can help her to overcome her inhibitions and maybe get Jason to see her as more than his friend.  Will Jason and Arianna move past friendship to something more?

Playing the Master

Ann has been sheltered all her life from the world.  When she lost her mother through an act of violence she retreated into herself.  She wore a disguise that hid her true self from world and especially her evil step-father.  Thick glasses that she really didn’t need, thick matted make-up, baggy clothes and a shy demeanor hide the true beauty that she had become from everyone, including her fiancé. A fiancé that is being forced into marrying her to gain control of her family’s company.  Ann could blend in and hide herself anywhere she went.  Her purpose was always to not be noticed and to run and hide if necessary.   Too many beatings from her step-father had taught her this hard lesson and the rule never to trust anyone.  Porter was emotionally scarred from the suicide of his younger brother and the abuse at the hands of his parents.  He trusted no one and wanted only one thing, to take his revenge on his father for the horror that he had inflicted on his brother and himself.  Everything changes for Porter when he meets the beautiful and mysterious Violet.  Violet, a woman that takes his breath away and makes him want her as his own.  The only thing standing in his way is his commitment to his fiancé and thirst for revenge.  Who is this woman and why does she remind him of someone?

Would I recommend this book: Yes! In the first book it tells about a woman’s journey to find her sexual self and the man/men that help her to discover how to be the woman she really is.  The second book deals with an innocent young woman and a man that is deeply scared by his past and how they find their way to each other when everything is against them being together.

Would I read other books by this author: Yes! Ms. Collins writes about women, their insecurities and inhibitions and how they were able to overcome those obstacles.  I look forward to read another book by this author.

***Received an ARC of this book from the Author in exchange for an honest review***
