Review: Ride: In Between the Covers (Carolina Bad Boys #2.5) by Rie Warren

The full, sexy, New Adult version of RIDE, the novella featured in Stone, At Your Service, Carolina Bad Boys series.

College man Jase Everly has bad boy written all over him. Rides a motorcycle? Check. Has tats? You bet. Couldn't give a shit about rules? He's all over that.

When he's cut off from the oil baron family funds, he finds a new way to support his education, his bike habit, his bad habits. And his business venture is nothing he's proud of.

Top-notch student Avery Greene is a good girl. Deans List, never missed a class, straitlaced material. She's on the college fast track until one night and one jock destroy her life. She hides inside her sweaters. She buries her nose in her books.

She ignores the pain inside her, and she's sure she hates Jase from the moment she lays eyes on him.

The problem is—Avery needs someplace to stay, and Jase wants a roommate. They’re enemies at first sight. Now they’re going to live together.

Roomies? Maybe.
Romance? Never.
That’s what she said.

Please note: This story includes a discussion of rape. This painful conversation is necessary for the growth of the couple's relationship.

Overall Rating:  4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆

This is the next installment in the Carolina Bad Boys series by best-selling author Rie Warren.  It is the full version of the novella featured in Ms. Warren’s first book in this series.  It features a bad boy, a good girl and hot campus life! This is Jase and Avery’s story and you will not want to miss one word of this sexy romance!

When you are considered one of the top dogs on campus, life is yours for the asking.  Or is it?  Jase has it all, motorcycle, good looks, tattoos that make the girls drool and don’t give a damn attitude.  He lives by his rules and will pay the price necessary to live the way he wants to. So what if his money has been cut off from his wealthy family.  He will make it on his own. When he meets a girl that needs a place to live, he freely offers her a room at his place. The fun begins and the struggle to keep his hands off his new roommate is just beginning.
Avery Green has a problem.  She cannot stay in the dorm anymore not after she was betrayed by someone she had trusted.  Everything in her changed from that moment. She had always been a good girl, good student on a fast track to finish college. Now she hides herself in oversized clothes and is afraid that he will find her again.  When bad boy Jase Everly offers her a way to get off campus, she takes it.  He is a bad boy and maybe he can keep her safe.

Friction, sexual tension and hate at first sight, seems to be the norm for these two.  How long will they be able to deny the pull that is burning between them? Will the good girl tame the bad boy? Or will the bad boy turn the good girl, bad?
