Review of Solstice Burn by Kym Grosso

Temptations flare in the hedonistic tropics when wealthy philanthropist and professional deep sea diver, Chase Ellsworth, rescues a beautiful woman at sea.

Penny Travis, a big city lawyer, may have been looking for relaxation at the exclusive adults' resort, but she soon embraces adventure, submitting to secret fantasies within the arms of her charismatic hero.

Overall Rating:  4.25 Rockin’ ★★★★☆

This is a Prequel to author Kym Grosso’s new series, Club Altura.  In this introduction to the series we meet some of the key players that will be highlighted in their own stories in future books. Extreme challenges and pushing themselves to the limit of their endurance is the norm for members of Club Altura. Penny and Chase’s story is filled with action, humor and hot sex which leads to their HEA!

Dr. Chase Abbott works as an executive for the Emerson Industries in research and development in the air of deep sea diving. While on an assignment, Chase rescues a mermaid, at least she looks like one to him.  It doesn’t take him long to see that she meets and exceeds all of his needs and he refuses to let her get away. All they have to do is work out a coast to coast relationship!

Penny let her friend talk her into a girl’s get away after breaking up with her cheating ex! Several things that her friend forgot to really explain was the rules at the beach resort they were staying at.  The most important was that it was a nude beach and visitors were not shy about walking around in the buff!  To top off everything she almost drowns while snorkeling and was rescued by an Adonis.  Maybe a few days in the buff watching this gorgeous man was not a bad idea after all.
