Review of Blood Moon (Moon #3) by Lisa Kessler

"Lisa Kessler is an up and coming author to remember" - Sherrilyn Kenyon - #1 NYT Best Selling author of the Dark Hunters Series

One bite can change you.
And one kiss can change your destiny...

Nadya Dalca has been handed a death sentence. She's been bitten by the last living genetically enhanced werewolf―part of the Nero Organization's disastrous Moonlight project. With the poisonous blood now coursing through her system and pushing her to the limits, it is only a matter of time before Nadya's fate is sealed...

Gareth Takoda told himself he couldn't get involved. Caught up in a maelstrom of grief and bitterness, he has been isolating himself from his Pack. But when he is charged with watching over Nadya's first transformation―or bear witness should it go horribly wrong―Gareth is torn further by unwanted desire and the need to protect what is his.

One kiss changes everything. One shattering, all-consuming kiss. And with it, Nadya and Gareth face either salvation...or death.

Overall Rating:  4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆
Tall, dark, sexy and Native American describes perfectly the hero in Lisa Kessler’s  Blood Moon book three in the Moon Series. The flavor of this paranormal romance is mystical, while at the same time it is suspense filled, sizzling hot drama!  Ms. Kessler has a way with words that weaves a storyline that keeps her readers turning the pages looking for answers.  This highly entertaining novel tells the story of two fated mates and magical journey they take to find their forever with each other.

What do you do when you are told you are going to die?  Nadia Dalca was handed a death sentence when a genetically engineer werewolf attached her.  Madness, violence and death are the only things that she can know  for sure will happen.  Even the support of her sister and the wolf pack cannot undo what has happened, but Nadia refuses to live what is left of her life giving up without a fight.  She is pulled to Gareth Takoda, a member of the pack and a wolf filled with grief.  He is the only one that she craves to be around during her last days.

He has lost to much, he cannot allow himself to care for Nadia.  She is the sunshine to his sorrow and the calming touch to his tortured soul.  But she is dying and nothing can save her.  Gareth knows that he cannot take another lost.  The lost of his twin brother still haunts him and if he gets to close to Nadia, he would not survive her lost.  One kiss and he realizes that she is his mate!   How can he stay and watch her die, how can he leave and not be there for her?  Why is this happening to him, he has already lost to much?  But maybe there is hope!  The way of his people may hold the answer to his saving his mate, if he will let go and accept it.

If you are looking for a phenomenal read, one that will keep you turning the pages, look no more.  This novel is a beautifully written love story with Native American overtones, with unforgettable characters.  The dialogue is sexy, witty and filled sexual innuendos.  Blood Moon is an excellent addition to my paranormal library.
