The Walker Brothers…

Tall, dark, and deadly, these three brothers run Walker security. Each brother is unique in his methods and skills, but all share key similarities. They are passionate about those they love, relentless when fighting for a cause they believe in, and all believe that no case is too hard, no danger too dark. Dedication is what they deliver, results are their reward.

Book 1 HOT SECRETS:

Royce Walker, a former FBI Agent, who’s opened a private security firm with his brothers, has always had the hots for the prim, proper Assistant District Attorney, but considered her hand’s off because of a family connection. However, when danger threatens Lauren, he isn’t willing to stand by and watch her get hurt. Now the passion for survival is only rivaled by the passion burning between them. And that passion, might just be the death of them both.

Overall Rating:  4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆

Lauren is an Assistant District Attorney and specializes in high profile cases.  Her father is a Senator with aspirations of her running for office and continuing the family’s legacy.  This is so out of Lauren’s comfort zone and she just wants to get off the political treadmill. After her break up with her cheating ex-fiancĂ©, Lauren is not looking for someone to take his place.   Her confidence has been shot since her ex’s desire was more for her daddy’s firm than his desire for her. Lauren’s self-confidence as a woman has really taken a nose dive.

In walks Royce Walker, the man Lauren has been dreaming about and can’t seem to get him out of her mind.  When he approaches her at the birthday party being given for her father she cannot believe that he is interested in her.  Royce has wanted Lauren for a long time and he has watched her at the different events that they both have attended.  He knows that he should back off and give her space but he can’t seem to leave her alone.  The opportunity to take her home during the party is a no brainer for Royce and he jumps at the chance.  Things start to warm up between the two of them but Royce realizes that Lauren has had too much to drink and will regret it if he doesn’t stop.  He wants her to know that he is really into her however he owes her father a favor and that could really cause problems for a relationship with Lauren. His promise to her dad was to check things out and see if there was any validity to his concerns and the Senator had pulled they favor by reminding Royce about how he had saved his dad.

Someone is stalking Lauren and Royce steps in to prove protection.  The weird phone calls, the open window in her apartment and the feeling that someone is watching her all add up to Lauren is not safe. Lauren is also confronted with her stepbrother Brad who gives her the creeps.  The way he follows her around and invades her space makes her very uncomfortable.   Especially when he tries to convince her to marry him and want back off and leave her alone.  Lauren’s refuge and safe space is becoming Royce since she can’t turn to her father because he will back her stepmother and stepbrother.  Could Brad be stalking her?

Who is after Lauren?  Or is someone trying to get to her father through her?  Will Royce be able to solve the mystery and keep Lauren safe?  Can Lauren forgive Royce for keeping her in the dark about what is going on?  Will Lauren and Royce find a way to be together?
