~Review: Sweet Perdition (Four Horsemen MC #1) by Cynthia Rayne~

Librarian Elizabeth Williams is drinking her cares away at Perdition, a notorious biker bar in her hometown of Hell, TX. She meets Ryker, a member of the Four Horsemen MC and they start a fun, sexual fling. Ryker finds himself falling for Elizabeth, but an outlaw has no business with a “good girl”. Hell, he’s not even sure he’d be worthy of one. Meanwhile, Elizabeth is being stalked by her ex and Carl’s behavior is becoming more and more erratic. Can Ryker protect Elizabeth without losing his heart?

What happens when a good girl meets a bad boy?  Sizzling, steaming hot fun!  That’s what happens when Elizabeth meets Ryker at a biker bar after the worst day of her life.  Her best friend’s marries her ex-boyfriend and has Elizabeth as part of the wedding party.  Not only that, she makes her wear a pink dress all covered in ruffles!  Elizabeth feels like a Barbie Doll reject and decides to drown her sorrows in alcohol at the first bar she comes too.   She does not realize that she is in a biker bar and is already over the limit for alcohol consumption.

 

The moment Ryker sees Elizabeth he is interested in the woman dressed in pink and decides to give her that name, Pinky. She is just the kind of woman that he likes, hour glass figure and lots of curves but to start with she doesn’t want anything to do with him. So he gives some sympathy and hopes that she will let him take her home.  Ryker knows that Elizabeth does not belong in the biker world that he lives in but finds that he wants to know her any way and can’t walk away.  But when she hustles him in a game of pool Ryker may have meet his match all he had wanted was a kiss if he won but now he had to give her a ride on his bike. Even when his MC Brothers start to make a move on Elizabeth, Ryker still doesn’t understand his possessiveness.  He just knows they need to back off and stay away from Elizabeth.

 

When Elizabeth’s old boyfriend, now married to her best friend tries to move back into a relationship with her, Ryker is ready to do damage to the man. Pinky is his and he needs her to decide if she wants to have a relationship with him.  He may not be sure what kind of relationship he wants, he just knows that he can’t let her go.  Elizabeth needs to decide if she can go from good girl to biker girl for Ryker or if they need to say good-bye.
