This is the combined volumes one, two and three in Eme Strife’s series, The Basilisk’s Creed.  It all started with a dream, an out-of-body dream that seemed so real.  It is a lucid dream that let the dreamer interact within the dreamscape.  That’s where Eli meets her dark reaper for the first time and our story starts.

Matt is a Dark Reaper and a Commander within its force.  He is a soul reaper sent to collect souls at their demise.  When he is summons to a meeting about a Shift that threatens to destroy his people, he is unable to totally focus on the job at hand.  He cannot get Eli out of his mind even when the Atlantic Ocean disappears.  Matthiel’s job is to find out what is causing the Shift and handle the problem.   

Eli is pulled into another dimension while dreaming.  She is so tired of trying to make it on her own.  When she moved to California it was to improve her life.  But Eli finds herself still struggling to make it.  Things begin to happen around her that makes no sense.  The dreams and her meeting with tall, dark and handsome is only one of those things. 

Will Matt figure out why the Shift is occurring?  Is love possible between a reaper and a human?  Find out what happens next by reading this book.

Would I recommend this book: Yes! If you are into SciFi this is a good read for you.  The action and characters are unique with a storyline that will keep you hooked.

Would I recommend this author: Yes! Great SciFi, Paranormal writer that I won’t to read more from.
