Blurb
The courageous men of USA Today bestselling author Tina Wainscott’s Justiss Alliance series never give up and never make a promise they can’t live up to—especially when love is on the line.
The only commitment Saxby Cole has ever made is to the SEALs. He follows a long line of Southern charmers who swear monogamy isn’t in their blood. He’s never met a woman who made him want to swear his allegiance—until, while undercover for a Justiss Alliance assignment, he finds a woman who makes him think twice.
When Jennessy Shaw’s boyfriend dumps her right before their vacation to a hedonistic Caribbean resort, she goes without him to explore her wild side. Throwing caution to the wind, she propositions Saxby—only to suffer his gentle rejection.
When she wakes in Saxby’s room with no memory of the night before, Jennessy discovers his real purpose: to sniff out an operation where women like her are drugged and prostituted to resort guests. She goes from victim to his investigative partner . . . but getting too close to the sexier-than-sin Saxby may be her wildest move yet.

Excerpt From Chapter Three
He grinned, his laugh deep. “I bet you get wild before long.”
She gave him a hollow smile as she followed the cart the bellhop was taking inside. Behind her, Sax thanked the driver and tried to tip him. Obviously he hadn’t read the brochure that said it was forbidden to tip since everything was included.
Forget him. Check in and start on those rum punches again.
The lobby was wide open, with Mexican tile floors and dark wood counters where clerks greeted her if they weren’t busy with guests. A hand on her arm startled her, and she turned to find Saxby beside her.
“Please, don’t be embarrassed. I was flattered, really.”
A clerk called out, “Next.”
Jennessy nodded in a thanks-for-trying-to-save-my-ego way and stepped up to the available station. Nearby, Saxby announced his name to another clerk. Jennessy focused on her own transaction.
“You’re in room 112 on the Wild side,” the woman said, handing her a small booklet. “This expands to a map of the whole facility.”
“I was supposed to be changed to the Mild side.”
The woman frowned, then checked her computer. “Sorry, I don’t see any changes in your reservation. Oh, maybe that’s because we don’t have any available rooms on the Mild side until Monday.”
Jennessy could feel Saxby’s attention on their conversation. She took a deep breath, steeling herself not to look over at him. “Don’t worry about it.” She wasn’t going to freak out. “I don’t have to walk around naked all the time, do I?”
The clerk chuckled as her fingers flew across the keys. “No. There are certain areas that are nude only, though, such as Commando Beach, and the Tango Pool and Play area.” She bobbed her eyebrows. “Naked volleyball is very popular. There’s almost always a game going on.”
Jennessy didn’t want to imagine naked people playing volleyball. Or, specifically, the body parts that would be flopping about during the game.
The clerk opened the booklet and pointed out the two areas on the map. “Here, it’s clothing optional, and over here in the Mild section, string bikinis are as racy as they get. Go where you’re comfortable.”
Jennessy took a quick breath. “Actually, I need to go where I’m not comfortable.”
“Now you have the idea,” the clerk said with a grin. “Winston will take you and your luggage to your room.”
Jennessy dared to look over at Saxby, who was facing her direction. “Have fun,” she said and followed the bellhop.

Interview with Tina

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?
For my Justiss Alliance series, it was my nephew, who was killed in Afghanistan. It made me realize what heroes our military people are, but also that they’ve been through so much, more than most of us can imagine. I knew I couldn’t write a true military book, and honestly, I was more interested in how these guys integrate back into society. Then I started thinking about some way that they’d be thrown back in, or literally, thrown out of the only life they’ve known for some time. Without honor. With scandal. And so was born my group of SEALs who took the fall for a covert mission gone wrong.

How do you decide physical features, names, etc. for your characters?
I watched a documentary on National Geographic on the takedown of Osama bin Laden and just fell in love with a couple of the actors who portrayed the SEALs in Team Six. Sometimes an actor or model will just come into my mind. Like for Knox, I knew he was Jensen Ackles of Supernatural. I saw a picture of Channing Tatum and knew he was Risk. Other times I have to (and I know you’re going to feel really bad for me) spend hours trolling through lists of “Hot actors under 30” on IMDB. Or my folder of pictures snagged from People Magazine’s Most Beautiful issues that I’ve been collecting for years. Yeah, it’s hard work, for sure
As for names, they often come to me in the same way. Knox, funnily enough, came from a man who works in the postal office. Saxby came from a Georgia senator’s name. Jennessy came from a song—sort of. When the Ginblossoms’ “Jealousy” first started playing on the radio, I thought they were saying “Jennessy.” I thought, wow, that’s a cool name and put it in my file. I even used that story for how she was named.

Do you find yourself identifying with some of your characters?  If so, which character?
There is probably a speck of me in most of my characters. We won’t talk about the villains. Ahem. Addie, in WILD ON YOU, has my love for animal welfare. Thankfully I’ve never been cheated on like Jennessy, but I can relate to wanting to explore my wild side at a place where I don’t know anyone!

Is there a novel that you’ve written that you consider your best work?  What is it?
Many of my novels resonate in different ways. UNFORGIVABLE was one that flowed out me and was dark, deep, and powerful with a truly tortured hero. DRAGON AWAKENED, by my Jaime Rush pseudonym, was both challenging and fun, creating my whole Hidden world of magical beings and people and two main characters who were thrown together but destined to be apart. And WILD ON YOU, the first in my Justiss Alliance series, was such fun to write, with the characters sparking off each other so naturally that I didn’t even have to think about it.

Who is your favorite author? What book by that author is your favorite?
Ilona Andrews, who writes urban fantasy. Though I love the Kate Daniels series, I think my favorite was ON THE EDGE, their second series.

Did this author influence your writing? In what way?
They inspired me to think bigger and darker when I was creating my Hidden series. To really use my imagination where the creatures were concerned.

Do you have a favorite genre that you read? What is it?
Romance usually plays into what I read … of course!  Though I do occasionally like a Dean Koontz novel. I’m moving away from the paranormal, which seems to be the trend in general, and find myself reading contemporary romance or mainstream stories with romance in them. I like books where the characters have deep issues or conflicts between them. Which is why I’m now working on stories like that! In fact, I have one coming out from Random House next June called FALLING FAST!

What do you feel would be your greatest accomplishment as a writer?
To touch people’s lives, to inspire them to overcome vulnerabilities and love themselves.

Overall Rating:  4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆

Defend and protect is the motto of the Justiss Alliance and the men that work within the company.  This is the next book in the series by Ms. Wainscott that shares more about the five SEALS that serve together fighting to overcome injustices in the civilian world.  It is Saxby and Jennesy’s story about finding each other in a most unexpected setting, an island resort called Decadence where clothing is optional.

Jennessy dumped her ex when she found him cheating on her!  The planned vacation to Decadence an island resort in the Bahamas was supposed to be for the two of them but there was no way she wanted that cheater with her.  She canceled his flight and reservation and decided to go alone.  This was a step out of her comfort zone and she planned on taking advantage of all the club had to offer.  The only problem she had is her family, her course of study and future job on the police force might not agree with her walking on the wild side!  When she meets Saxby on the flight to the resort, he is the perfect gentleman, not her usual type but she finds herself attracted to him.  He seems to be the opposite of everything her ex was!  Or is he really what he appears to be?

Saxby has been assigned a mission to uncover and find evidence of what is happening to some of the women visiting the resort.  They are reporting that they feel like they have been raped but cannot remember anything!  His company takes on jobs that are hard to solve and works to bring justice to those that have been wronged.   Sax is a ladies man that has no problem attracting women so when he is told that he would need a makeover to turn him into a GEEK he was not that excited!  How do you take a gorgeous hunk and turn him into a GEEK?  Dye the blond hair brown, contacts to cover the striking green eyes, dress him in oversized clothes and tell him to slouch!  Everything is going according to plan until he meets a woman like he has never seen before.  A woman that might change his mind about staying unattached! He cannot be distracted right now, he is on a mission and lives are at stake!

When Jennessy is drugged and handed over to Saxby by one of the club employees the story really starts to unfold.  Who can be trusted?  Will they be able to solve this dangerous mission?  Can they find out who is behind the drugging and taking advantage of unwilling women?
