~Review: Clutch (Custom Culture #2) by Tess Oliver ~

When Taylor Flinn’s parents shipped her off to an aunt for her last year of high school, James “Clutch” Mason had convinced himself it was for the best. Taylor, the wild, impulsive and far-too-appealing seventeen-year-old had been driving him nuts. Her school girl crush on him had been the last thing he needed. Now he had time to concentrate on his booming classic car part business, his new found love-- drag racing, and keeping his twenty-year-old brother Barrett out of trouble.

But when Taylor returns from her aunt’s more grown up, utterly seductive, and attached to another guy, Clutch realizes that the only thing he ever needed or wanted was Taylor Flinn.

Overall Rating:  5 Rockin’ ★★★★

Taylor has always belonged heart and soul to Clutch.  He has always looked on her as his best friends irritating little sister.  When her family sent her away to live with family in Florida it was to get her away from Clutch and help her get over her crush.  Even after she returns the feelings she had are still there.  Her family is adamant that she will stay away from him or they will send her away again.  Taylor has different ideas; she is still head over heels in love with Clutch and is two years older.  She will no longer be controlled and denied a chance to get Clutch for her own.

Clutch cannot believe how Taylor has changed.  She is no longer his best friends little sister but someone he knows he will not be able to ignore.  So many conflicts hit all at one time for Clutch.  His brother returns and he has to help him clean up his drug addiction.  His business partner who is also Taylor’s brother doesn’t want him to have anything to do with her.  Taylor’s family lets him know through Jason that she is off limits. This puts an added stain on their partnership. Will Clutch tell them all to get out of their business?  Can they overcome family prejudice? With all of this going against them will Taylor and Clutch find a way to be with each other?

Would I recommend this book: Yes! This is Ms. Oliver’s second book in the Custom Culture Series and it is unbelievable.  I have read this book not once, twice but three times.  When you reread a book just because you enjoy it that says a lot about the book and its author!

Would I read other books by this author: Yes!  Ms. Oliver is an amazing writer and her books reflect that ability to capture her audience with her words.  I have read every one of her books and cannot wait to read more by this talented author.
