~Review: Desired (Club Sin #3) by Stacey Kennedy~

Readers of Fifty Shades of Grey are sure to love Desired, USA Today bestselling author Stacey Kennedy’s latest seductive, electrifying novel of Club Sin, where fantasy becomes reality.

Kyler Morgan, Master at the legendary Club Sin in Las Vegas, knows how to give women what they want—too well. He hasn’t had a real challenge in a long time. Then Ella Snow enters his life. Beautiful, inhibited, and innocent in the ways of submission and domination, Ella is the new blood he’s been lusting after. Soon, the thrill of training her to embrace his world brings forth desires Kyler cannot control.

After ending an abusive relationship, Ella makes a promise to herself to start living life to the fullest. It’s one of the reasons she seeks out Club Sin. Here, Kyler’s every touch is a lesson in liberation, stirring passions that have no bounds. But as she falls under Kyler’s command, Ella discovers that some secrets are so dark they must come to light. Submission alone may not be enough to save her, leaving her Master with only one question: How can he help Ella heal while unlocking the deep pleasures she craves?

Desired is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

Includes a special message from the editor, as well as excerpts from other Loveswept titles.

Overall Rating:  4 Rockin’ ★★★★

What happens when a vanilla girl and a naughty BDSM boy meet?  Fireworks of course!  Ella is a good girl that has been raised by her older grandparents in a conservative lifestyle. Ella had married her high school sweetheart right out of school only to find that he had developed into an abusive, drunken spouse after the death of his father.  She files for divorce, packs up and moves across country to get away from the abuse.  When she arrives in Las Vegas she doesn’t know anyone and feels alone and lost.  She is lucky enough to land a job in an office for a well-known attorney.  He takes her under his wing and treats her like a little sister.  When Ella attends his wedding she meets Kyler Morgan one of his groomsmen.

Kyler is a Dom Master at Club Sin and is also a local police officer. He takes one look at Ella and knows that there is a connection between them.  Kyler wants to know more about Ella, but his friend, Ella’s boss warns him not to hurt her.  He tells Kyler that Ella is haunted by some issues in her past and she doesn’t need to be approached if he is not serious about her.  Kyler likes his kink but even though he knows Ella is vanilla he has to find a way to determine if perhaps she could want more. He approaches Ella at the wedding reception and spends an incredible night with her.

Ella doesn’t know how to tell Kyler that she is going through a messy divorce and she is too embarrassed to tell him about the abuse.  Kyler works with abusive situations and can see that Ella is exhibiting signs that she has been abused.  As their relationship grows, he is concerned that if he takes her to the next level he may do more harm to their possible future relationship than good.   Is it possible that she may be able to accept his domination? All he knows is that he wants Ella to be a permanent part of his life and for this to occur, Ella needs to share her past.

Will Ella be able to accept an alternative lifestyle? Can she tell Kyler about her ex and how he became an abusive spouse?  Is it possible that Ella is a submissive and will share Kyler’s life?  Read this book and find the answers! ~TSRBR

Would I recommend this book:  Yes!  This is a tastefully written BDSM love story with lots of really HAWT action in the Dungeon, in the bedroom and everywhere else.  The author takes a look at some controversial issues dealing with spousal abuse and healing while still developing the need for the BDSM part!

Would I recommend this author:  Yes! Love the way Ms. Kennedy tells her stories with humor and at the same time makes a statement about all the things that are really important in a relationship. I have already enjoyed Ms. Kennedy’s books and will continue to look for more.
