~Review: Mr. X by Clarissa Wild~

*Author Note: This is not your average romance story. Some people will kill for love.*

He’s come to kill me.

I’m a user and abuser of my own body. In my darkest hour I sold my soul to the devil and now I must pay the price. With his gun to my head I have no choice but to listen and obey, but I refuse to go down easily. Nothing is stronger than the will to survive. My instincts kicked into full gear the second he stepped into my motel room.

Except when I look at him I see my own heart staring back at me. A history tainted by blood.

I don’t know his name, but I know he wants me. To save myself I’ll sacrifice my sanity. My body. My soul. Something tells me the x-shaped scar that marks his eye is the only escape I have. He is Mr. X: the man who comes to claim my life. Can I save myself before he demands my heart?

WARNING: This book contains very disturbing situations, dubious consent, breath deprivation, strong language, drugs and alcohol, and graphic violence.

Overall Rating:  4 Rockin’ ★★★★

Clarissa Wild's Mr. X is an erotic tale of the consequences of the actions one takes.  Innocent or not for every action that is taken there is an equal reaction and it is not always the one that we want.  Mr. X is a result of his choices and the reactions that he takes because of those choices.  His life was set, all he had to do was follow the instructions he had been given. Jay was the spoiled daughter of a powerful man.  She had always been able to do whatever she wanted to do and to have anything she wanted.  But Jay made choices that had consequences that she did not expect.  Her life should have been easy with no problems. ~TSRBR

Would I recommend this book: Yes! This is a dark twisted story of revenge, death and lust filled obsession.  Two lost souls that have lost everything but need each other to stay alive. Pasts will be revisited and resolution of injustices will be sought.

Would I read other books by this author: Yes!  Ms. Wild is a talented writer that uses words to paint emotions.  She is a true artist and I look forward to reading her next literary adventure.
