Thursdays are Callie Barnes favorite day of the week, it the day that she gets to see Wes Braden. He makes his weekly visit to the library to collect the books that she has selected for him to read. Callie wanted Wes to look at her and see her as a woman and yet each time he came around she became so tongue tied and nervous that she felt like an idiot in front of him. Why did he have to be everything that she wanted? He was smart, kind and beyond handsome everything a girl could possibly want and more but Wes had a reputation. Women pursued him and he had more female companionship than any man could need. So, why would he look at her?

“Hey.” His eyes landed on the books she was still clutching against her chest. “Those for me?” Wes came into the library every Thursday to pick up the latest thrillers and an occasional biography.

Little did Callie know but Wes made his weekly trip into the library to see her. He couldn’t seem to stop thinking about her and knew even if he didn’t read a book that she chose for him, he would be in the library again on the following Thursday. There was just something about Callie that appealed to him on a level that he didn’t understand.

She was sweet and proper and nothing like the women he was usually attracted to and as he drove out of Trusty and headed into the mountains, he couldn’t help but wonder what it might be like to take her hair down and run his fingers through it…”.

When Callie’s friends plan a few days at a Spa it is an opportunity to get away and stop obsessing over Wes. Callie’s friends have a surprise in store for her; they have decided that she needs to experience some things outside her comfort zone. They have booked a cabin in the mountains at ranch not a spa! Complete with the great outdoors that includes riding, mountain climbing, hiking and camping out under the stars in a tent. What none of them know is that the ranch is owned by Wes Braden and his partner. Now Wes has an opportunity to get to know Callie and show her who he really is.

“Callie, I didn’t expect to see you here.” He was damn glad she was there, but equally a worried. How in the hell was he supposed to suppress what he felt every time he saw her?

Callie is worried that she will not be able to do the things at the ranch with the others but for some reason Wes is taking her under his wing and showing her how to do things. He is keeping her close by his side and making sure she is safe. Will Callie be able to overcome her fears? Can Wes convince Callie that they are right for each other even though they are so different?

Would I recommend this book: Yes! When you mix a sexy cowboy with a shy librarian what you get is story about unexpected love and the path toward forever.  This story tells about two people that are opposites but are meant to be together and how they overcome the obstacles to find true happiness with each other.


Would I read other books by this author: Yes! Ms. Foster once again does not disappoint with her beautiful story about soul mates that find each other.  I love reading her books and cannot wait to get another one to read.
