Unrequited is a short hot, steamy novella introducing Melody Grace's new series The Callahans.  It gives you a quick glimpse of the night Dex and Alicia meet and the undeniable chemistry that is shared between them.  I could not read this story fast enough and although it left me grasping and panting for the rest of their story.  I feel content and happy that I will get to reconnect and read more of their passionate budding romance. 

Dex is the alpha rock star returning to the spotlight after being missed by his adoring fans for over a year.  He is deeply bothered by his past and has secluded himself from the business.  What happened in his past that is now haunting this talented beautiful man and keeping him from his future?  The only place Dex finds freedom is in his music.  It has always been the one thing that grounds him and keeps him sane.

Alicia is a successful business woman in love with someone that does not reciprocate her feelings.  A man that has never seen the woman right in front of him that loves him silently.  Wait for the day that he sees her has cost her especially now.  Alicia knows that he will never be hers and she needs to let go.  She buries herself in her work and chooses to pine over the one that is lost to her.

Would I recommend this book: Yes!  I feel that Ms. Grace rocked the world of hot romance with this steamy novella.  She covered all the things that readers enjoy reading in a love story and still left them wanting more.

Would I recommend this author:  Yes!  This is an author that not only knows how to write but also how to bring a story to life.  Can’t wait to read the next the complete novel!
